Description: New 2016 edition with much added new material. Written by educationalist, psychologist, former teacher and lecturer, and childhood trauma survivor, David Hosier BSc Hons; MSc; PGDE(FAHE). This book is about the established link between childhood trauma and borderline personality disorder (BPD) written in an accessible, clear and concise style.
Review: When you have read as many books about BPD as I have you often see the same sort of information over and over and over again. While this book started slow it soon got into the grit of the conversation and is full of personal observations, theories and stats. While some of it can be a little triggering to read from a study point of view this book is a perfect read. I found myself really getting into it and understanding the author a lot more. It is clear they have done their homework here and anyone interested in those side of BPD should give it a read.
Overall Rating: 5/5 – While it starts slow, in the end, this book is both useful & thought-provoking
